Summary of Proposal:
We are proposing amendments to Ontario Regulation 670/98 (Open Seasons) under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act to permit the use of bows during the gun seasons in Wildlife Management Units 91A-B and 92A-D, supporting the alignment of deer seasons across the province.
There are no anticipated significant environmental implications that would impact deer harvest levels, hunter safety, or deer population stability as a result of these proposed changes.
