Summary of Proposal:
The Term of Licences (Ontario Regulation 367/07) was amended on June 11, 2010.

The regulation states that every licence issued under the Act shall be issued for a term of one year under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005.

The June 11, 2010 amendment extended the term of a licence by 30 days for individual licensees with an expiry date between June 13, 2010 and July 1, 2010. The extension only applied if they had submitted their renewal application prior to their licence expiring and if the Private Security and Investigative Services Branch was unable to process the licence prior to its expiring.
