Summary of Proposal:
The purpose of O. Reg. 94/96 was to exempt the design, construction and operation of the Western Beaches Storage Tunnel from the requirements of the EAA.
Construction of the facility has been completed. The operation component of the regulation is no longer required because continued operation of the facility is exempt under section 4 of Reg. 334 under the EAA. O. Reg. 94/96 no longer had any practical effect and was revoked by OIC 837-2010 on June 15, 2010.
