Summary of Proposal:
The proposal is to complete boundary amendments for eight provincial parks as follows:
-Bell Bay Provincial Park - correction of an administrative error in the regulation that listed an incorrect area for the park
-Dupont Provincial Park - establishment of 614 ha nature reserve class provincial park in the geographic township of Williamsburgh
-Peter's Woods Provincial Park - addition of 317 ha of acquired land
-Port Bruce Provincial Park - remove encroachments from the park through de-regulation of a small area of land while at the same time extending the regulated boundary into Lake Erie - for a net increase in regulated area of 1.8 ha
-Quetico Provincial Park - addition of a 29.14 ha forfeited mining patent to the park (the added land is completely surrounded by existing park)
- Sioux Narrows Provincial Park - addition of 5 ha composed of two parcels of acquired land
-Spruce Islands Provincial Park - addition of 32.78 ha of acquired land (the added land is completely surrounded by existing park)
-West English River Provincial Park - de-regulation of 1 ha parcel of land to allow for construction of a sewage treatment plant as ordered by the Ministry of Environment
