The Ontario College of Trades will be implemented in 2013. At that time, the Trades Qualification and Apprenticeship Act (TQAA) and the Apprenticeship and Certification Act, 1998 (ACA) and their regulations will be repealed, Ontario's apprenticeship and trade certification system will be governed completely under the OCTAA. One regulation under the Private Career Colleges Act was amended to reference the Ontario Colleges and Trades Apprenticeship Act (OCTAA). The following amendment was approved - Ontario Regulation 415/06 - General - Subsection 41(2)(e).
