Summary of Proposal:
Ontario has posted a regulation for public consultation that would, if adopted, make Ornge subject to Ontario's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) by amending Regulation 460 under FIPPA. This measure will increase transparency at Ornge and is in keeping with the practices of other broader public sector organizations.
If adopted, this Regulation would come into force on the later of August 1, 2013 or the date this Regulation is filed.
