Summary of Proposal:
O. Regulation 404/01 (Licence Fees) is a regulation made by the Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission that pertains to the former Ontario Apple Marketing Commission. Apple producers in the province are now represented by Ontario Apple Growers, a marketing board under the authority of Ontario Regulation 125/04 (Apples - Marketing) and Ontario Regulation 123/04 (Apples - Plan).

Although the former Apple Commission has been defunct for some time, O. Reg. 404/01 is still on the books. Accordingly, the regulation is spent and has nothing to regulate. Revoking O. Regulation 404/01 is good regulatory housekeeping practice.
