Summary of Proposal:
An amendment has been made to the General Regulation (Ontario Regulation 415/16), made pursuant to paragraph 55 (1) 26 of the Private Career College Act, 2005, to clarify the types of personal information that a third-party service provider, working on behalf of the Superintendent of Private Career Colleges can request for the purposes of calculating Key Performance Indicators. The information that private career colleges will now be required to provide will allow for better verification and validation of student information and allow the ministry to conduct analyses similar to those conducted in the public college sector and included in its Employment Profile (currently only public colleges).

The new private career college data reporting requirements are comparable to those used to collect information from public colleges for the purposes of calculating and publishing KPIs.
