Summary of Proposal:
The OMA is currently designated as an agency to carry out a quality management program under the LSCCLA. Effective October 2014, the OMA transferred its quality management program to IQMH. The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care is proposing to amend Regulation 682 to reflect the name of the agency currently carrying out the quality management program.

A consequential amendment to O.Reg. 297/04 (a Minister's regulation) is also required so that any agency designated to carry out a quality management program under the LSCCLA would be considered to be an entity that is authorized to establish a "quality of care committee" under QCIPA in respect of its activities under the LSCCLA.
