Summary of Decision:
This amendment extends the revocation date of section 6.2 of O. Reg. 329/04 under PHIPA to January 1, 2017. Without the amendment, section 6.2 would have otherwise been revoked on January 1, 2016, leaving a gap in the privacy framework under which eHealth Ontario creates and maintains the electronic health record.
