Summary of Proposal:
The objectives of the proposed reform are:
1) To streamline the SOP program to make it easier for the customer to use, understand and comply with;
2) To create an SOP program that is consistently administered in the application of relevant laws and policies; and
3) To enhance public safety by examining the perceived risks that events pose and identifying ways to address potential problems and mitigate risks.
