Summary of Decision:
The purpose of this posting is to provide general notice to the public that the list of where Sunday gun hunting is permitted in southern Ontario has been amended by Ontario Regulation 54/18 to add one municipality at their request. This change is effective as of April 1, 2018. The environmentally significant aspects of this regulation were considered during consultation with municipalities and the public on a proposal to expand where Sunday gun hunting could occur during the spring through fall of 2005, including a proposal posted on the Environmental Registry (www.ontario.ca/environmentalregistry and search RB05E6807).
The one additional municipality being added is the Township of Melancthon.
