Summary of Decision:
Two regulations under the Farm Products Payments Act have become obsolete as the provisions in the regulations have been carried out. The revocation of O. Reg 610/99 (Dissolution of the Fund for Egg Producers) and O. Reg 672/92 (Disposition of the Fund for Producers of Vegetables for Processing) will come into effect on July 1, 2010.

Summary of Proposal:
The Farm Products Payments Act permits the establishment of funds for payment of compensation to unpaid producers of farm products, as well as the establishment and dissolution of boards to administer those funds.

O. Reg 610/99 (Dissolution of the Fund for Egg Producers) specifies how the Egg Fund Board shall distribute the balance of money in the Fund for Egg Producers once the fund has been dissolved, as well as the required documentation for this process. The regulation has become obsolete as the provisions in this regulation have been carried out.

O. Reg 672/92 (Disposition of the Fund for Producers of Vegetables for Processing) specifies how the Processing Vegetable Financial Protection Board shall distribute the balance of money remaining in the Fund for Processing Vegetable Producers to dissolve the Fund, as well as the required documentation for this process. This regulation has also become obsolete as the provisions in this regulation have been carried out.
