The Eligibility To Hold A Licence — Clean Criminal Record Regulation (Ontario Regulation 37/08) was amended on March 16, 2010.

The regulation lists over 80 offences under the Criminal Code (Canada) and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (Canada). Individuals who have been convicted of any of these offences and have not received a pardon are not eligible to hold a security guard or private investigator licence under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005.

The March 16, 2010 amendment eliminated a duplicate offence. The amendment revoked Item 51 as it was a duplicate of Item 52.
