On March 31, 2021, the Ontario Mortgage and Housing Corporation Repeal Act, 2020 will come into force, dissolving the Ontario Mortgage and Housing Corporation (OMHC) and transferring its assets, liabilities, rights and obligations to the Crown in right of Ontario.
In connection with this change, a minor amendment has been made to O. Reg. 304/18 (General) under the Construction Act, in order to revoke a provision that had specified how to serve a claim for lien on the OMHC. The amendment will take effect on March 31, 2021.
