Summary of Proposal:
Two amending Minister regulations were filed under the Clean Water Act. The first regulation (O. Reg. 284/10) amends O. Reg. 288/07 (Source Protection Committees). The second regulation (O. Reg. 285/10) amends O. Reg. 284/07 (Source Protection Areas and Regions). The amending regulations were made as a result of the amalgamation, under the Conservation Authorities Act, of three conservation authorities into a new conservation authority – the Quinte Conservation Authority and deals with all necessary transitional matters arising from the amalgamation.
