Summary of Proposal:
As a result of recent statutory and regulatory changes, minor consequential and housekeeping amendments have been made to various forms and to O. Reg. 303/18 (Forms) (the Forms Regulation) under the Construction Act.
In particular, following the amendments made as part of the Smarter and Stronger Justice Act, 2020 and the Accelerating Access to Justice Act, 2021, the Forms Regulation, Form 22, and Forms 24 to 28 have been revised to replace references to a master or case management master with updated terminology.
In addition, the titles of Forms 23, 28, and 29 have been revised to eliminate inaccurate references to the previous monetary limit of the Small Claims Court.
Other minor changes have been made to various forms.
