Summary of Decision:
The changes to regulations under the Environmental Assessment Act have made non-substantive, administrative amendments by:
• Amending O. Reg 231/08: Transit Projects and Metrolinx Undertakings to update section number references to align with the 2020 amendments to the Environmental Assessment Act.
• Revoking O. Reg. 152/18: Request for Order to Comply with Part II due to scoping the Part II Order (bump-up) request process to focus on potential adverse impacts to constitutionally protected Aboriginal and treaty rights. The use of this form is no longer required given the amendments made to the Environmental Assessment Act in 2020.
• Amending O. Reg. 341/20: Ontario Line Project to update section number references to align with the 2020 amendments to the Environmental Assessment Act.
