Summary of Decision:
The trade of sheet metal worker is composed of the following branches:
1. Branch 1 (sheet metal worker).
2. Branch 2 (residential (low rise) sheet metal installer).
This Regulation comes into force on January 1, 2011.

Summary of Proposal:
It is proposed that the trade of Sheet Metal Worker would consist of two branches: Branch 1 Sheet Metal Worker and Branch 2 Residential (Low Rise) Sheet Metal Installer. Each branch would have its own scope of practice and apprenticeship requirements.
