Approved updated regulations which set out co-payment and comfort allowance amounts required to be paid by chronic care patients toward their accommodation and meals while in a public hospital chronic care bed.
This is an annual amendment to increase the co-payment rates by the rate of inflation and to increase the comfort allowance from $128 to $130 effective November 1, 2010.
