Summary of Proposal:
The Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 (CSPA) came into effect on April 1, 2024, replacing the Police Services Act (PSA). The CSPA modernizes policing and enhances community safety in Ontario.
At this time, SOLGEN is requesting public and stakeholder input on a proposed regulation to be made under the CSPA regarding eligibility to receive a King's Commission.
