Summary of Proposal:
The Ministry proposes to add new, or amend existing, prescribed forms, including:
• a new application form to record a mining claim using the map staking system in southern Ontario.
• update application forms to record a mining claim and to transfer a mining claim to accommodate requirements for notifying private land owners
• update all forms to reflect Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act provisions and other administrative amendments to update, for instance, Mining Act section references, ministry name and acronym, and correct website references.
