Summary of Decision:
The amending regulation to Ontario Regulation 403/10 (Hogs - Plan) was filed with the Registrar of Regulations on March 4, 2011. The amendments came into force on the date of filing. The amending regulation corrects oversights which occurred during the drafting of the original Regulation 403/10. The amendments include a change to a date and the addition of two geographic areas to a district.

Summary of Proposal:
An oversight occurred in the drafting of regulation Ontario Regulation 403/10 (Hogs - Plan). Consequently, an amendment to change a year from 2010 to 2011 in a clause of the regulation and an amendment to add two geographic areas to a district within Ontario were needed.
Paragraph 4 of subsection 6(1) of Regulation 403/10 is amended by striking out "Prescott and Russell and Prince Edward" and inserting "Prescott and Russell, Prince Edward, Renfrew and Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry"
Section 11(8) is amended to read: "(8) A producer who was registered on December 31, 2010 as a member of a County Pork Producers Association is deemed, on and after January 1, 2011, to be registered as a member of the approved association whose association area corresponds to the boundaries of the County Pork Producers Association. O. Reg. 403/10, s. 11 (8)".
