Summary of Proposal:
The Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, on behalf of the Government of Ontario, invites public comments on proposed regulation to amend Ontario Regulation 201/96 under the Ontario Drug Benefit Act.

The proposed regulation would:

Section 1:
- extend the period for the $1 transition fee for pharmacies from April 1, 2011 to June 30, 2011

Section 2:
- provide that the regulation would come into force on April 1, 2011


The content of the final regulations are at the discretion of the Lieutenant Governor in Council who may make the regulation with any changes that the Lieutenant Governor in Council considers appropriate.
