Summary of Proposal:
The amendment limits the resource-based tourism licensing requirement to only those establishments receiving the following direct allocations of Crown land and/or natural resources from the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR):
o Tourist establishments that receive an allocation of Crown land for accommodation purposes (e.g. outpost camps); and/or,
o Tourist establishments that receive moose validation tags, a licence to provide bear hunting services, or consent to store a boat for commercial purposes on Crown land.
