| Amendment to R.R.O. 1990 Regulation 761, (Milk and Milk Products) under the Milk Act. |
| The Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission (Commission) is proposing to amend Regulation 761 under the Milk Act. The amendments were requested by Dairy Farmers of Ontario (DFO) after consultation with dairy farmers and industry stakeholders. DFO's request resulted from an agreement to harmonize milk quality programs in Eastern Canada. The proposed amendments would make changes to the raw milk quality program including animal care and welfare requirements for dairy cattle. |
