Summary of Proposal:
The OINP is Ontario's economic immigration program. Through the OINP's Employer Job Offer (EJO) streams, the ministry nominates individuals for permanent residence who have job offers from Ontario employers seeking to fill labour market needs that cannot be met domestically. Under the EJO streams, a qualified employer applies for approval of an employment position that, if approved, can be filled by a foreign worker (someone from abroad or an individual with a temporary work permit) who meets employee EJO stream criteria, and that individual would then receive a nomination for permanent residence.

The ministry is seeking feedback on the employer requirements for its EJO streams; document requirements; whether additional consideration should be given to priority sectors; and employer experience using the program.
