Ontario's Regulatory Registry

Ontario is proposing to ease restrictions on offloading winter-grade gasoline from ships before the winter switchover date. We are also proposing clarifications about gasoline testing methods. This would reduce burden on industry and ensure consistency with national standards, while maintaining protection of human health and the environment.

Under the RHPA and the Nursing Act, 1991, the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) is responsible for governing the profession of nursing in Ontario. Under these Acts, the CNO has the authority to make regulations on a variety of subject matters, including standards and qualifications for certificates of registration.

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) is proposing regulatory amendments made under the Medicine Act, 1991, to regulate Physician Assistants (PAs). The affected regulations include Ontario Regulation 865/93 (Registration), Ontario Regulation 114/94 (General), and Ontario Regulation 856/93 (Professional Misconduct).
