Proposal to adopt a more stringent Ontario Drinking-Water Quality Standard (ODWQS)
The ministry proposes to adopt a more stringent ODWQS of 0.080 mg/L (80 ug/L) for total Trihalomethanes (THMs) with a phase-in period as recommended by the Advisory Council on Drinking Water Quality and Testing Standards. The ministry proposes to amend O. Regulation 169/03 under the Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002 upon adoption of this ODWQS.
