A park boundary amendment is proposed for Little Abitibi Provincial Park. The amendment will remove 200 hectares from the park above the falls on New Post Creek, and add 400 hectares five kilometres further upstream on New Post Creek. The overall increase in area of 200 hectares will result in more diversity in the terrestrial and wetland ecosystems and will enhance the ecological integrity of Little Abitibi Provincial Park.
