In June 2011 the Tobacco Tax Act was amended to provide for the regulation of raw leaf tobacco, effective October 1, 2012. As provided for in the amendments, additional details of the program are to be made by both LGIC and Minister's regulations.

MNR is proposing to regulate these 72 ha as part of Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Amending the boundary of Bronte Creek Provincial Park requires the amendment of Ontario Regulation (O.Reg.) 316/07 under the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act, 2006.

The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) is proposing amendments to R.R.O. 1990, Regulation 275 "Rules of Practice and Procedure to be Followed in All Proceedings Before the Referee" under the Drainage Act. The current version of Regulation 275 dates from 1990 and the proposed amendments intend to update, clarify and generally improve the regulation.

A park boundary amendment is proposed for Little Abitibi Provincial Park. The amendment will remove 200 hectares from the park above the falls on New Post Creek, and add 400 hectares five kilometres further upstream on New Post Creek. The overall increase in area of 200 hectares will result in more diversity in the terrestrial and wetland ecosystems and will enhance the ecological integrity of Little Abitibi Provincial Park.
