Consultation Regarding Establishing a New Trade of Barber
The Ministry is seeking input regarding whether the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities should make a regulation to prescribe the trade of barber under the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009 ("Act").
Strengthening Ontario's Trails Strategy
In 2005, the Ontario Trails Strategy (Strategy) was launched. The Strategy was developed collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, as well as Aboriginal communities. The Strategy laid out a long-term plan for developing, managing, promoting and using trails across the province.
At that time, the Province also made a commitment to review the Strategy to ensure it remained relevant over time. The Province is now revisiting the strategy in order to strengthen it.
Coordinated Policy Guidance for Waterpower Projects
The proposed Coordinated Policy Guidance for Waterpower Projects has been developed by the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) and the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) to clarify roles and responsibilities. The proposed Guidance document provides clarification of Ministry specific roles and responsibilities for waterpower projects, in reviewing and issuing authorizations.

Consultation on the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario's policies and procedures established pursuant to the Liquor Licence Act and its regulations, which affect manufacturers of beer, spirits and Ontario wine, liquor delivery services, manufacturers' representatives and ferment-on-premise operators.

The government is now reintroducing the proposed Great Lakes Protection Act, 2013 (Bill 6). Minor changes were made to the proposed Great Lakes Protection Act, 2013 to align the proposed Act with Ontario's Great Lakes Strategy which was released in December 2012, and to correct minor legislative drafting errors.
Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reductions in Ontario: A Discussion Paper
The Ministry of the Environment would like to engage the public in the development of a greenhouse gas emissions reduction program. The discussion paper will be used to support discussions and elicit input on the development of a greenhouse gas emissions reduction program. The province is also interested in the perspectives of other interested parties who can submit comments to the ministry through the Environmental Registry on any aspect of the program.
