Regulatory components to support the development and implementation of source protection plans under the Clean Water Act  (source: Environmental Registry)

The goal of the Clean Water Act, 2006 is to protect existing and future sources of drinking water, as part of an overall commitment to human health and the environment. A key focus of the legislation is the preparation of locally developed, science-based assessment reports and source protection plans. As required by the Act, regulations must be developed to enable local source protection committees to complete their source protection plans.

"Proposed List of Public Bodies that will be Subject to Standards and Guidelines for Conservation of Provincial Heritage Properties,” which provides direction on the identification, protection, maintenance, use, and disposal of heritage properties owned or occupied by the Crown in Ontario.  (source: Environmental Registry)

The Ministry of Culture (now the Ministry of Tourism and Culture) is proposing a policy for conservation of real property of cultural heritage value or interest that will apply to all Ontario government ministries and to a select number of Ontario government agencies and corporations. Related to that proposal is a proposal for an implementing regulation that names the Ontario Government agencies and corporations that will be required to comply with the conservation policy.
