Proposed Amendments to Ontario Regulation 455/09 and Policy Options for Enhanced Planning  (source: Environmental Registry)

On December 4, 2009, a new regulation made under the Toxics Reduction Act, 2009 was filed with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 455/09. The regulation and Act came into force on January 1, 2010. The Ministry is proposing to amend O. Reg. 455/09 to address the requirements related to “toxic substance reduction planners” . The Ministry is also seeking comments on options for enhanced planning.
