The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) is proposing regulatory amendments to Ontario Regulation 201/96 made under the Ontario Drug Benefit Act to allow Ontario Works (OW) recipients 25 years of age and older to maximize the benefit from receiving greater quantities of certain ODB-funded drugs (e.g. chronic use medications), making it more convenient for them and reducing the number of their co-payments.
