Amendments to Ontario Regulation 79/10 under the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007
The amendments allow for the designation of reunification priority access beds (RPABs) for spouses / partners in crisis, require the disclosure of personal information in certain situations, permit the Director under the LTCHA to designate specialized units on his or her own initiative, and permit the Ministry to serve a document by use of a commercial courier.
OHIP Provisions for Children Receiving Protective Services to align with changes to existing legislation.
The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) is requesting approval to make consequential amendments to provisions respecting Ontario Health Insurance Plan eligibility for children in the care of a children's aid society in Regulation 552 under the Health Insurance Act (HIA) to align with changes to the Child and Family Services Act (CFSA) that will permit child protection services to be extended to 16- and 17-year-olds, which is expected to be proclaimed into force on January 1, 2018.

Proposed new regulation to provide transitional rules for the implementation of certain amendments to the Labour Relations Act, 1995, if Bill 148 - Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, 2017 is passed. This includes transitional rules in relation to remedial certification, review of structure of bargaining units, no discharge or discipline without just cause during lawful strike or lock-out periods, fines for offences, and location and method of voting.
Proposed Cigarette Filter Components Regulation
The Ministry of Finance regulates the distribution of tobacco products in Ontario. The Tobacco Tax Act was amended to introduce a new regulatory regime for oversight on the import and possession of cigarette filter components to reduce the supply to the unregulated tobacco market.
The Ministry of Finance is developing regulatory and administrative measures to support amendments to the Tobacco Tax Act, which will come into effect January 1, 2018.
Homes for Special Care Modernization (OPDP)
The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) is proposing regulatory amendments to Ontario Regulation 201/96 made under the Ontario Drug Benefit Act to support the ministry's Community Homes for Opportunity (CHO) program. The CHO program is part of the ministry's plan to modernize the Homes for Special Care program.

The Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration (MCI) is seeking public input on draft regulations related to the administration of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) and the selection program eligibility criteria for various categories under the OINP.
Amendments to O. Reg. 367/11 under the Housing Services Act, 2011
The Special Priority Policy (SPP), set out in Ontario Regulation 367/11 of the Housing Services Act, 2011(HSA), provides priority access to rent-geared-to-income (RGI) social housing for survivors of domestic violence who have been abused by someone they are living with (or have lived with), or by someone sponsoring them as an immigrant, and from whom they intend to separate permanently.
Proposed Revisions to the Scaling Manual
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) is proposing revisions to the Scaling Manual. The revisions are required to incorporate changes resulting from a review of current wood measurement practices and standards and to address editorial changes. MNRF has also considered the outcomes of recent policy initiatives in its revision to the Manual.
Proposed Changes Affecting the Control of Hazardous Substances under the Occupational Health and Safety Act
The Ministry of Labour (MOL) is proposing to consult on updates to the occupational exposure limits (OELs) under Regulation 833 (Control of Exposure to Biological or Chemical Agents) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). The MOL is also proposing to consult on amendments that will, if approved, introduce new respiratory protection and measuring provisions, as well as updating and harmonizing a number of other provisions.
