Energy has proposedlegislation to refinance a portion of the Global Adjustment (GA) as contemplated in the OFHPA. Creation of new regulations under the proposed OFHPA would support the implementation of the refinancing of GA. Amendments to existing regulations (O. Reg. 429/04 and O. Reg. 280/14) would provide the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) and Local Distribution Companies (LDC) with the necessary authority related to their OFHPA activities.
