A park management statement is required for Chapleau-Nemegosenda Rivers Provincial Park to replace the 2006 Interim Management Statement direction for the protection and management of the park. Chapleau-Nemegosenda Rivers Provincial Park is a 17,732 hectare waterway class park located approximately 15 kilometres northeast of the town of Chapleau. The park was established in 1973 to protect the traditional and recreational canoe-route, as well as associated cultural and natural heritage values.
