Proposed amendments to O. Reg 53/05 that would 1) Set Ontario Power Generation's (OPG) hydroelectric rate for 2022-26 at the 2021 rate, and 2) Require OPG establish a deferral account where it would track incurred costs associated with the shutdown of Pickering Nuclear Generating Station.

As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, Ontario is proposing to extend the temporary approach for forestry operations conducted in Crown forests under the Endangered Species Act for an additional year.
This will help avoid additional regulatory burden and economic strain on the forestry sector while a long-term approach is finalized.

The Ministry of Transportation approved an amendment to the Highway Traffic Act, Ontario Regulation 620/05 - High Occupancy Vehicle Lanes (HOV) for the purpose of allowing single-occupant licensed taxicabs and airport limousines in provincial HOV lanes, on a permanent basis.
The amendment to O. Reg. 620/05 - High Occupancy Vehicle Lanes came into force on June 22, 2020.
