Approved Regulatory Proposals
The purpose of this proposal is to inform forest industry staff, interested parties and the general public that a revised version of the FIM is available for review and comment. The posting is intended to announce the purpose, intent and direction set out in the FIM and to provide an opportunity for consideration of the proposal and to invite comment.

The purpose of the proposal is to amend Section 10 of Ontario Regulation 167/95 of the Crown Forest Sustainability Act to enable the Minister, at his discretion, to require existing sustainable forest licences to be certified to an accepted performance standard.
