Schools, Private Schools and Day Nurseries, O. Reg 243/07 (Amendment to O. Reg. 169/03 and Revocation of O. Reg. 173/03)

The Government of Ontario is introducing new, more stringent requirements for flushing and testing of drinking water taps in schools, day nurseries and private schools. Previously, schools, day nurseries and private schools under O. Reg 173/03 were required to flush their water systems once per week and guidance had been provided to flush daily if elevated lead in drinking water is a potential concern.
