Driver's Licence Check Service Fee

The Ministry of Transportation is proposing to waive the current $2 legislated fee required to conduct a driver's licence check through its online Driver's Licence Check service and launch a free and improved service in fall 2019.

Transitioning from Global Adjustment Refinancing to a More Transparent On-Bill Rebate

The Ministry of Energy, Northern Development and Mines (ENDM) is proposing amendments to O. Reg. 363/16 (General), O. Reg. 364/16 (Invoicing Requirements) and O. Reg. 275/04 (Information on Invoices to Low-Volume Consumers of Electricity) as part of the transition to a new, transparent on-bill rebate to replace Global Adjustment Refinancing.

Consultation on the proposed Combative Sports Act, 2019

The Combative Sports Act, 2019, if proclaimed, would establish a new legislative framework for amateur and professional combative sport in Ontario. It would improve health and safety conditions for athletes participating in professional and amateur combative sports, and ensure they have a safe environment to achieve excellence in their chosen sport.
