Section 6.2 of O. Reg. 329/04 clarifies the privacy framework under which eHealth Ontario creates and maintains the EHR. It also compels eHealth Ontario to comply with detailed privacy protection requirements. O. Reg. 331/11, which was the amending regulation that added s. 6.2 to O. Reg. 329/04, has been amended to extend the revocation date of s. 6.2 from December 31, 2013 to December 31, 2014.
