The Ministry of the Environment is seeking comments on a draft Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Reporting regulation and guideline that would phase in requirements and support the implementation of a cap and trade program that can link to other GHG systems.

As a result of a request from Ontario’s two largest accredited farm organizations, the Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA) and the Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario (CFFO), the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) is proposing to amend General, O. Reg. 723/93 to increase the Farm Business Registration fee from $150 per year to $195 per year, and to make other consequential amendments.
