Regulations were filed on February 2, 2015 to change the status of the Sprinkler and Fire Protection Installer trade from voluntary to compulsory status. The trade's compulsory status will come into effect on February 2, 2017.

The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing is proposing to amend Ontario Regulation 699/98 (Order Under Subsection 17 (10) of the Act) under the Planning Act in order to permit Northumberland County to exempt official plan amendments in the Town of Cobourg, Municipality of Port Hope and Municipality of Trent Hills from its approval, once the County Official Plan comes into effect.

O.Reg 508/10 amended the Sheriff’s Fees regulation under the Administration of Justice Act, O.Reg 294/92, to provide for annual inflationary increases to the fees for conducting a writs search, and for obtaining a writ detail report, beginning in 2015.
