The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care is proposing changes to the Schedule of Benefits for Physician Services and Regulation 552 of the Health Insurance Act that will remove Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI) and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) as insured services in order to prepare for the launch of a new program to publicly fund these assisted reproduction services.

These regulatory amendments would update the Ontario Drinking Water Quality Standards, as well as related sampling, testing and reporting requirements. They would also respond to stakeholder comments by providing phase-in periods and ensuring that the existing level of drinking water protection for consumers is maintained. The proposed regulatory amendment to the Energy Efficiency regulation, O. Reg. 404/12, would revise minimum energy performance standards (MEPS) for certain halogen general service lamps (GSLs) until December 31, 2014. This proposal is equivalent to exempting certain halogen GSLs that meet the current United States Department of Energy (DOE)'s GSL MEPS from Ontario's current MEPS.
