The Minister of Children, Community and Social Services is proposing to amend Policy Directive CW 003-23 - Preparing Youth for Successful Transition from the Care of Children's Aid Societies under the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017 (CYFSA). The proposed amendments aim to clarify data collection and reporting requirements for children's aid societies (societies) with respect to children and youth receiving services under the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services' youth leaving care policy and Ready, Set Go (RSG) program.

We are proposing changes to the Disposal of Dead Farm Animals regulation made under the Nutrient Management Act, 2002. The Ministry of Health is proposing regulatory amendments under the Ontario Drug Benefit Act and the Drug Interchangeability and Dispensing Fee Act to remove barriers that may prevent "well-established drugs" from being publicly funded under the Ontario Drug Benefit program or designated as interchangeable in Ontario. Well-established drugs are drug products containing substances that have been sold in Canada for sufficient time and in sufficient quantity to establish their safety and effectiveness. The proposed regulatory amendments would modernize submission requirements for manufacturers of well-established drugs and ultimately improve access to treatment options for Ontarians.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) is proposing an amendment to O. Reg. 664/98 (Fish Licensing) made under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997 (FWCA) to add Jade Perch (Scortum barcoo) to the list of species that are eligible for aquaculture in Ontario. The Ontario government is proposing to introduce rolling incorporation of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) efficiency standards for 24 space and water heating products regulated under the Efficiency Regulation. Through the rolling incorporation approach, the proposed amendments would allow for automated updates to the Efficiency Regulation whenever NRCan revises or updates their standards for these products. The Ministry of Transportation (MTO), with support from the Ministry of the Attorney General (MAG), is seeking approval to amend the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999 (LAT Act) and add the Towing and Storage Safety and Enforcement Act (TSSEA) to the statute.
MTO plans to bring forward a regulation to provide for the Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT) to hear TSSEA certificate appeals. The proposed amendment to the LAT Act would provide a necessary route for further appeals of LAT decisions to the Divisional Court.
